NIST-traceable ultraviolet disinfection device management illuminance measurement system
This is a dedicated illuminance measurement system for ultraviolet sterilization lamps used in hospitals and medical facilities for COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. Remote measurement is possible.
With the outbreak and spread of COVID-19, hospitals and medical facilities are increasingly required to use ultraviolet light (UV-C), which can inactivate most pathogens, to disinfect personal protective equipment (PPE). Checking the intensity of ultraviolet light is an important step in verifying that the appropriate dose of ultraviolet light is being delivered to ensure effective decontamination. International Light Technologies (referred to as ILT) has been developing and manufacturing various light measurement systems for 55 years. All meters come with calibrated detectors, ISO17025 certified NIST traceable calibration certificates, and a sturdy carrying case. The detectors are connected with cables approximately 1 to 2 meters long, allowing for remote measurement. The meter can be turned on and measurements can be taken immediately.
